A seasoned physical therapist, working in the field for 40 years, Terri has extensive training in gentle, evidence based manual techniques that reduce to ameliorate pain, posture training, balance/proprioceptive training and exercises to restore balance to the body for improved functional mobility whether it is walking, running, paddling, lifting and or returning to a physically demanding occupation or sport. Terri excels in treatment of the spine and pelvis/SIJ (sacroiliac joint), shoulder and pelvic girdles but is competent to treat other issues as well. The most important part of her assessments, initially and at each treatment, is to listen and comprehend the patients’ concerns and complaints of pain, functional difficulties and events in their medical history that could have contributed or precipitated the issues. Then creates an exercise program that is appropriate to bring better motion back to life!
Outside of work Terri cherishes her dog, Chibi, her friends and family, this beautiful island and events, singing, Hula and learning more about the Hawaiian culture.
