Kai was Born and raised in Kona. Kai was first educated as an Athletic Trainer. During his career in Athletic Training Kai found that he needed more of a background in Emergency Medicine. Being both an E.M.T. and Trainer, Kai fell in love with Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy. On an athletic scholarship as a gymnast, he earned both his Masters of Exercise and Sports Science and Physical Therapy at The University of Florida. After caring for 2 professional sports teams in Florida, Kai made his way back to his home in the islands.
Kai loves being able to assess and treat the physical ailments of his patients. He is very purposeful in his approach to care and helps his patients get the most out of their time with him. While he has an extensive background in the sports arena, he also possesses great skill in treating spinal conditions and the elderly. Keeping with his productive lifestyle, Kai has recently completed the building of his home and helps his wife Sue in her baking business, “The Twisted Danish”.
