Klifford earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2017 from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. As a local resident of Kona, he has always had an interest in athletics and went on to play collegiate baseball at Lee University in Cleveland, TN. His interest in physical therapy began with sports related injuries where he was rehabilitated by Gordon Dong. He has just recently moved back to the Big Island in June 2017 with his wife who also works as a Physical Therapist at Club Rehab. He plans to pursue further credentialing in athletic rehabilitation or orthopedics.
